HIGHLAND HIDEAWAY

Encompassing four bedrooms and generous recreational spaces, Highland Hideaway is a contemporary interpretation of the Indochina design legacy. The project draws on both French colonial influences and traditional Vietnamese aesthetics, balancing old-world character with the comfort and functionality of modern living.

Designed as a weekend retreat for a couple in their 50s and their children, the home offers a quieter counterpoint to their everyday life in the city. Set within a peaceful highland landscape, it was conceived as a place to slow down, reconnect with nature and spend time together — whether reading, knitting or gathering around the table for long family dinners.
