About Nooka Studio

Nooka Studio was founded by Khanh Ho in 2020. A graduate of RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, Khanh earned her Bachelor of Interior Design in 2015 and has been working in the industry ever since.

Growing up, she was deeply influenced by her father, an architect, and her mother’s love for gardening and cooking. This blend of design sensibility and appreciation for everyday living shaped her belief that homes should be both beautiful and highly functional—spaces that feel warm, comfortable, and truly personal.

At 17, Khanh moved to Melbourne to pursue her studies, before returning to Vietnam, where she spent seven years working alongside her father. After founding Nooka Studio, she relocated to London in 2023. It was there that she recognised a significant gap—many homeowners come from rich cultural backgrounds with unique needs, yet their homes are often built by contractors who don’t fully understand them. As a result, homeowners can struggle to communicate their vision and navigate the renovation process, often ending up with homes that, while well-designed, don’t fully reflect their lifestyle or aesthetic.

Drawing from her own experiences—including renovating her own home and working closely with local contractors—Khanh is committed to bridging this gap. With her expertise, cultural insight, and industry knowledge, she helps homeowners bring their vision to life, creating spaces that are both beautiful and deeply personal.
